MEDIA PLAYER

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 7, 2026

Short version: Media Player does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal data. Your media and recordings stay on your device, or — if you turn it on — in your own private iCloud account. There are no ads, no analytics and no third-party trackers.

Information we collect

None. The app has no accounts, no login and no servers of our own. We do not collect usage data, device identifiers, location, contacts or any personal information.

Your content

Audio and video you import, and voice memos you record, are stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud Sync in the app, that content is stored in the app’s private container in your iCloud account so it can sync to your other devices and restore on a new one. We have no access to it. iCloud is provided by Apple and governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Microphone

With your permission, the microphone is used only to create recordings you start yourself. Recordings are saved to your library on the device (and to your iCloud if you enabled sync). Audio is never sent to us or anyone else.

Photo Library

With your permission, the app can read a video you choose to import from your photo library. Nothing from your photo library is uploaded or shared; the selected file is simply copied into the app’s own storage.

Sharing

When you tap Share on a track, iOS’s standard share sheet lets you send a file to another app or save it to Files. That action is entirely under your control; the app does not share anything on its own.

Analytics, ads and tracking

There are none. No third-party SDKs, no advertising and no tracking across apps or websites.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above.
